In announcing on LinkedIn Updates that he will starting his new job Monday, Colin Levy admits that this search for work was the toughest he has ever encountered. Yes, there are jobs out there. But there also are plenty of talented folks applying for them.
Since losing his position as General Counsel at Salary.com, Levy has been sharing in detail the ups and downs and insights gained about becoming employed again. He has acquired quite a following. Today, so far, there have been 660 likes and 128 comments about his success.
Essentially his message has been to align the search with organizations you're simpatico with. And keep at it. Tenaciousness, as we have witnessed, wins the day.
