The overall economy in the U.S. added 215,000 jobs. In the legal sector, there was the third consecutive month of job losses.
In The Wall Street Journal, Jacob Gershman reports that 1,200 jobs were lost in legal services.

This statistic is actually wrong. It has increased by 1,200 jobs in March and 100 in February. The numbers are easy to find at: http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.htm
