For a fourth time, law enforcement had to intervene.
Again, Track Palin, the 29-year-old son of the former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, had been arrested for a domestic disturbance. This time, the New York Post reports, it was for an attack on a female acquaintance in his own residence. When the police came he resisted arrest.
The reality is that society, including the so called experts, knows so little about anger and how those plagued with it can manage it. If they did we wouldn't have so many domestic murder-suicides. The Adam Lanzas wouldn't conduct massacres at schools. Deaths wouldn't happen over a parking space in a shopping center.
We tell people that their anger will get them into trouble or that ti has gotten them into trouble. They might be assigned to an anger management course. They might try meditation. The might even stop consuming alcohol which can accelerate the release of that red monster.
But it is rare that those people can get their heads around that powerful force and control it.
This blog extends hope to Track Palin. May he figure out how to protect himself and those he cares from such a primitive part of human nature.
