As many know, in The New Yorker, Jason Farrow and Jane Mayer broke the story this evening about a second woman accusing Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. That was Deborah Ramirez.
The alleged incident occurred when both were in their first year at Yale (1983-84 academic year). Essentially the incident allegedly involved:
Exposing the penis
Putting the penis in the victim's face, and
Forcing victim to touch the penis.
At the time, Kavanaugh was described as allegedly intoxicated. Here is The New Yorker article.
Minutes before that story was released, Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels' lawyer, made the public statement that he is representing a woman with, reports the New York Post, "credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge."
The woman, states Avenatti, is not Ramirez.
The New York Post quotes Avenatti as tweeting:
"We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn."
Avenatti will appear on CNN with Chris Cuomo this Monday to provide more details.
Reflection: Any other individual or organization with news is out of luck. The Kavanaugh controversy is sucking up all the oxygen in media outlets.
