At the Nina Hale company, based in the Midwest, there is an new benefit in parental leave policy.
As Fortune reports, pet parents can opt to work from home (paid, of course) as the new addition to the family adjusts.
Every new pet parent knows how soul-wrenching it is to leave the newcomer home alone while at work.
This benefit is bound to enhance the brand of Nina Hale. Who doesn't have a soft spot for, say, the puppy which has been separated from the biological mother and has to struggle to bond with the adopting human parent?
For example, here in Eastern Ohio, a new parent of a puppy needed groceries. But she didn't want to leave the little one at home and it was too hot to leave him in the car.
So, she called Marc's and asked if she could bring the puppy into the grocery store while she shopped. Wisely, the store said yes. Both in the store and in the parking lot much goodwill was created for Marc's.
