As the New York Post reports, Giuliani contends he referred two former clients from Greenberg Taurig to Christie's new law office in New Jersey. Not so, Christie said. Giuliani had resigned from that law firm.
In addition, Giuliani stated that the Trump Administration may use Christie to prep Donald Trump for a sit-down with Robert Mueller. That too Christie denied.
Also Giuliani is floating the idea that Christie would be great as U.S. Attorney General. On that, Christie has made no comment. He had been a U.S. Attorney.
It remains to be seen if and when Christie can recover from the Bridgegate scandal. He wasn't convicted of blocking traffic on the George Washington bridge to punish the mayor of Fort Lee. However, the high-profile trial in which his former chief of staff was convicted threw shade on his entire political career.
Currently Christie is leading a Trump Administration initiative on opioid addiction.
An insightful biography of Christie is by Matt Katz - "American Governor." Here it can ordered from Amazon.
