Want to up the odds for passing the bar the first time around? Well, if you're planning to practice law in Texas, your first choice in selecting a law school should be Baylor University School of Law.
On Abovethelaw.com, lawyer-journalist Kathryn Rubino reports that Baylor has the highest passage rate in TX of first-time takers. That was 92.02%.
The University of Texas' rate for first-time passes was lower than Baylor's. It was 91.6%.
The marketing team at Baylor should get right to work positioning and packaging this achievement. Passing the bar the first time around not only gets the new JD out of the gate faster.
It also prevents the long-time trauma of flunking. That blow to self-confidence can reduce the odds of passing in repeated tries.
