The National Football League has posted a job opening for a communications professional who can guide its executives in crisis management.
The job requirements, reports Kevin McCauley on Odwyerpr.com, include 8 years experience in issue management and story-telling. Candidate must also be "comfortable working in a diverse environment."
Since sports entertainment is America's real religion, it's puzzling why its president Donald Trump stirred up and is sustaining the controversy over taking a knee. Also, given that so many NFL players are men of color, this conflict can be perceived as, well, racist.
But the irony is that Trump is surrounded by lawyers and yet he is smacking down on First Amendment rights. He may be receiving lousy guidance from those lawyers or just ignoring it.
