The lawsuit, filed by fitness model Sahara Walsh for $100,000, contends that a very drunk Downes got into the back seat of the car she was in, reports the NEW YORK POST. When she demanded he get out, he beat her up. That assault, she claims, rendered her unable to do modeling assignments. Downes is due in court in August.
No financial firm likes this kind of publicity. A smart public relations move would be for Kipling Jones to position Downes as an alcohol abuser. Pronto, he should be shipped off to rehab. There he should strive to get a good recommendation for cooperation. In several months, like the miscreant in the film "The Bling Ring," he can make a statement how grateful he is for the lawsuit. It gave him the opportunity to recognize his illness and seek help. All's well that ends well.
