Time is money and if non lawyers invest in law firms that time will be spent more efficiently. Likely the price of legal services will come down and justice will thrive throughout the land.
Everyman's law brand Jacoby & Meyers won a round in having states allow non lawyers to put money into law firms. The U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that its lawsuit to make that happen can move to trial in New York, reports Bloomberg.
Outside the U.S, such as in England and Australia, that is already happening.
