POLITICO reports that Bush's fever is climbing higher. No, he is not getting better and it was a negative sign that he spent the holiday in the hospital. In his hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut, folks tend to think of his dad Prescott as the family patriarch but, hey, that guy never did get to be president.
Without royalty, America needs its dynasties. The Bush family matters to us. And politics matters to the Bush family. Jeb could leverage this attention and any which will follow in the worst-case scenario to strengthen his platform for 2016.
