Will the 2 year sentence handed down by U.S. Judge Jed Rakoff to convicted insider trader Rajat Gupta act like a deterrent? That's what is on many minds as the world discussses this sentence which is well below the 10 years the prosecution had requested. Gupta was also fined $5 million, peanuts in his world.
After prison, Gupta, who's in his early 60s, can begin his professional comeback in India, where he is well respected.
