Angst still pervades the legal sector. According to a survey by Robert Half Legal, reports TEXAS LAWYER, those firms interviewed indicated a 9% plunge in confidence about their business for Q4 versus their take for Q3.
The bright spots in practice area, found Robert Half Legal, were healthcare, business/commercial litigation, and bankruptcy/foreclosure.
Obviously, the legal industry has not regrouped since it went from boom to bust in 2007. This is a scary reality for those looking to be hired. Only 32% of those surveyed indicated plans to hire, down a percentage point from what they previously said.
