BigLaw is well known for its all-nighters, sometimes even serial ones.
That approach to getting work done caught up with the medical field which restricted shift hours for its medical doctors in training. This week the lack of sleep caught up also with news personality Mike Francesa of AFAN-AM. As THE NEW YORK TIMES reports, a video, which went viral, depicts him nodding off during an interview with Sweeny Murti. Murti follows the Yankees fro AFAN-AM.
It's not unlikely that clients will sue law firms which did not gain favorable outcomes for them. They could contend the practice 0f all-nighters impaired performance. First the American Bar Association and state bar associations, then perhaps Congress could introduce bans on excessive work hours.
