There's nothing more classy than stopping in a watering hole like Thom Bar in the Thompson Hotel in Manhattan after a day's work. But AmEx lawyer Bryan Brooks might regret that for the up-to-25 years he might spend in prison for allegedly slashing the face of another man in the bar.
As the NEW YORK POST tells it, allegedly Brooks thought that customer Chaka Smith was laughing at him. When Smith told him to bug off since he didn't even know him, supposedly Brooks cut his face with a broken champagne flute. Putting it back together required both plenty of stitches and staples.
The case is being presented before a jury. They have to be wondering if this guy who seemingly had it all was having a bad day or does he have a problem when he drinks alcohol? If the latter or if the latter can be proved, then Brooks' lawyer has a good argument for a lighter sentence if there is a conviction. Also, in prison those accepted in substance abuse rehab programs serve time under better conditions and could have shorter sentences.
gute Informationen, ich habe es llike sehr, ich danke Ihnen.

After sensationalizing this case and dragging Mr. Brooks' name through the mud instead of asking if he acted in self defense, are you going to do anything now that the jury found he acted in self defense against a much larger, very drunk assailant?
Even the video evidence showed this. Are you going to ask why the DA wasted time, money, and a grand jury on this case only to have the trial jury throw the whole thing out so soon?
