Bradley Jack: He forged prescriptions but many others get 'em from doc/online pharmacies

Former Lehman bigwig Bradley Jack was unusual.  To get his pain killers etc., reports Bloomberg, he forged prescriptions and got nailed twice for that.  From what I hear "in the rooms" of 12-step meetings, it's easy enough to get addictive prescription medication from doctors or from the Internet without a prescription.  Jack probably just didn't know his way around the system and online pharmacies.

His lawyer asks the court to allow him to enter a substance abuse rehab program, which is new.  If he does well in that he will not have to go through criminal prosecution.  That sounds progressive.  Increasingly, it's the painkillers which are landing both highly paid professionals and ordinary people in hell.  They assume they can handle it.  Few can.
