Money talks, at least in capitalism. Steve Janelli hits on the monetary consequences of being nailed for drinking and driving. At the very least insurance goes up and there could be the cost of a fine and a lawyer. At the worst, the car could be damaged or totaled. There could be enormous legal costs if anyone has been injured.
