Issue: The media seem to take such glee when an alleged miscreant is a lawyer. Why? Does that go back to the centuries old dislike of lawyers? Or is it disbelief that a lawyer couldn't save his own skin?
The most recent case of this delight is the case of New Yorker Jason Bohn. He is accused of murdering his girlfriend Danielle Thomas. This lawyer has entered a non-guilty plea.
Had he been a dog groomer would that have been blasted all over the New York Metro newspapers?
