Jailhouse justice is the Old Testament kind: Comprehensive and brutal. There are no mitigating factors taken into consideration as those we find in pre-sentencing reports.
The traditional legal system worked in the case of Jerry Sandusky, former assistant coach at Penn State. It did that in the sense that he, now convicted of 48 counts, will be delivered into the prison system. There the inmates who have worked out their own code of justice will take care of the rest.
