Paul Hastings to lay off 45 staff, between Nov and Jan

Outsourced.  That's where the jobs of 45 staff members at Paul Hastings are being going, reports David Lat on Abovethelaw.com. 

The job function is called "document processing" and the work with be done by RR Donnelly.  The terminations will be phased in between November and mid January.

I wish the best to those who lose their jobs in this brutal economy.  Most of the legal assistant positions advertised here in Connecticut are for part-time or just-in-time work.
