In Silicon Valley, Cooley hired 16 associates, most laterals but also a few first-year. And compensation is back on-track after taking recessionary hits, reports Amy Miller in THE RECORDER. Fourth-year associates are now receiving $210,000 instead of $185,000. The situation is similar at Wilson Sonsini.
