Do the math. That's going to decide the legal-process outsourcing [LPO] debate. THE ECONOMIST presents those numbers. Here they are:
- Drafting contracts and legal memos in Gurgaon, India runs at $50 an hour. In a U.S. law firm, it runs about $400 an hour.
- While U.S. law firm business is downsizing, the LPO one in India is growing and expected to total about $1.1 billion by 2014, from $146 million in 2006.
- While some U.S. law firms are folding as a result of the recession or merging, LPOs have surged in number from 50 in 2005 to 140 today.
THE ECONOMIST notes that the smart money is buying shares of the LPO enterprises such as Integreon and CPA Global.
LPO is a new business trend and we can't deny that fact. We have to be positive in many ways, also be open minded to new things to learn more and become successful as well.

Undoubtedly true. May look unpleasant to some but the truth can never be denied.
