He said that he had tried to quit smoking cigarettes but couldn't. Now celebrity author Christopher Hitchens announced he has cancer of the esophagus and will be undergoing chemotherapy.
Plaintiff lawyers with a track record in tobacco litigation likely have been contacting him. One only wonders how many and if Hitchens will get religion about the alleged perils of cigarettes and file a suit as a statement. This guy has never been one to turn his back on a cause.
