In this era of vanishing good jobs, what separates those making a buck from those not is a marketable idea sold brilliantly. One such idea is the training to think and talk like lawyers. Many go to law school or dream of going to law school to acquire that ability. After all, it really is a formidable force. That's exactly why landlords don't want to rent to lawyers and the lion's share of society doesn't mess with them.
With this idea you won't even have to brainstorm for a catchy name for your service. You can just put it out there as Think, Talk Like Lawyers, without law school. You would distill the fundamentals you learned in law school and legal practice about how to view a situation in ways favorable to you or your client. Then you would explain how to communicate that exactly like lawyers do: with confidence, authority, and a take-no-prisoners attitude.
The distribution channels could be courses, seminars, webinars, and books. The first customer might be those advocacy organizations whose mission is to empower the underclass. Suppose all those homeless, welfare recipients, disabled, and ethnic minorities got the hang of thinking and talking the way you do. The next group might be those having chronic problems collecting on their accounts receivable. Then there are all those who keep getting pushed around and can't figure out why. They can stop looking for the cause and move right to the solution.
To start on the road to riches, a helpful read might be Harvard Business School Rosabeth Kanter's book CONFIDENCE. It details the essence of upward and downward trajectories. It was my bible when I climbed out of my own career hole.
