At Kilpatrick Stockton a lawyer might have paid the ultimate price. Today, Marisa McQuilken reports in LEGAL TIMES that there was a death of an attorney at law firm Kilpatrick Stockton. [Yesterday, the firm laid off 24 associates and counsel.] There is no comment from the firm but McQuilken tells us that Kilpatrick Stockton "posted an internal e-mail sent to firm employees Thursday morning, stating that the Metropolitan Police Department was responding to 'an unconscious male with a gunshot wound to the head on the 11th floor.'"
