Sometimes, Yeah, It's Okay To File Lawsuits
Value investor Todd Sullivan, who contributes to FORBES, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL and his own blog Value Plays, has been reading my recent posts. Actually, Sullivan has been reading between the lines on those posts. He picked up on my awkward apology for wanting the miscreants allegedly responsible for importing toys with high lead content judged by our legal system. Here's what Sullivan has to say:
"It think there is a perception that because we are against what we call frivolous lawsuits, we are against ALL lawsuits when nothing could be further from the truth. What we want are the correct parties targeted, not those with the deepest pockets.
"In lead paint, the guilty parties are property owners. With these imported toys and trinkets with high contents of lead the legal system will have to determine accountability and the remedy."
When can we expect the publication of Todd's Guilty Parties so we can avoid suing the incorrect corporations?
